A popular Hyderabadi dish -Mirchi ka Salan

  • Banana chillies -4
  • white sesame seeds -2 tbsp
  • groundnuts-2 tbsp
  • cumin seeds-1 tsp
  • coriander seeds-1tsp
  • turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  • garlic -4 flakes
  • ginger -1 inch
  • dry red chillies -3
  • Thick tamarind pulp-1 tsp
  • mustard -1/4 tsp
  • curry leaves -2 sticks
  • onion -1 medium
  • salt to taste
  • water-1/2 cup 

Slit the banana chillies in between and deep fry them .. remove on a tissue paper ..

Dry roast separately white sesame seeds, groundnuts, cumin seeds, coriander seeds  .. cool it n then grind along with garlic, ginger ,dry red chillies n turmeric powder to a smooth paste ..

in a kadai add oil , mustard , curry leaves , grated onion n saute till d onions turn pink ,add  the ground paste ,salt n fry for sometime, add in water  n then d fried chillies !
