Green chilly -3 or according to the spice , slit length wise
Dry red chilly - 2 , torn
Garlic Flakes, slightly crushed -5
Grated Ginger-1 tsp
Method Wash the thur dhal n pressure cook it adding turmeric powder , then add the methi leaves n pressure cook just for a whistle . Cool n churn it . In a kadai add oil n splutter mustard seeds ,then add the cumin seeds n let it sweat , add curry leaves n slightly crushed garlic flakes n roast till reddish brown , add torn dry red chilly, slit green chilly, grated ginger n fry for few minutes . Add chopped onion n fry till reddish brown ..Add chopped tomato n cook till mushy . Add salt . Cooked dhal n methi leaves . Add water as per consistency n boil for a while .
