Ghee Roast Sada Dosa

  • Urid Dhal-1 cup
  • Raw Rice-3 cups
  • Methi /Fenugreek seeds-1tsp
  • Salt to taste
Method
Soak urid dhal, rice and methi seeds for 5 hours  n then grind to a fine paste ..Remove the batter add salt n ferment overnight .

Heat the dosa  tawa .. sprinkle little water n wipe it with a tissue or cloth n pour a ladle full of batter n spread evenly in circular motion . Cover and cook , after a minute add a tsp of melted ghee to the edges of the dosa n cook on both sides till crisp .

Serve hot with chutney /Sambar or any dip of your choice .

  1. Many a times these sada dosas are best to eat and feel more comfortable than those special dosas.like after a spicy meal we crave for simple dal/saru and rice.The dosas have come out very nice.
