Amarkand n Pooris !
For Pooris
- 1 Cup-wheat Flour
- 1/2 Cup-Water
- salt to taste
Method
In a bowl add the wheat flour , salt n water n knead to a dough ..Poori dough should be harder than chapathi dough, as this wont soak the oil much ! roll out the pooris immediately as soon as the dough is made , . If you keep the dough for a long time then the pooris will soak up lot of oil...
Amarkand
- Ripe Mango -2
- Milk - 1 litre
- lime juice -1/4 th tsp
- Sugar-1tsp
- cardamom powder -1/4 th tsp
Method
Boil milk .while boiling add lime juice..when milk curdles ..switch off d flame n keep covered for sometime ..once the milk fat has separated from the whey , pass this through muslin cloth n tie it ! keep this overnight , so that all the water is drained out ..
Prepare mango puree n keep aside
in a bowl add the mango puree, hung stuff , sugar n beat well ... add in powdered cardamom n serve chilled !
Note: can use hung curd , i had spoilt milk hence went for the above process !!!!
