Left over Idly Batter Ramdonu topped with Thalale Thele / Fried Oil , Organic Pumpkin Flower Ambat n Jaggery Kaapi 

Left Over Idly Batter Ramdonu 


  • Left Over Idly Batter -4 cup's



Method 
Smear oil to a Deep bottomed plate n pour the batter n steam for 20 mts .

Terrace Grown Pumpkin Flower Ambat /Cooked in Coconut Based  Masala

  • Pumpkin Flower's  -10 to 12 
  •  Thur Dhal ..1/2 cup
To grind
  • Grated coconut- 1 cup
  • Roasted dry red chilies- 4
  • Tamarind -Tamarind seed size 
  • Salt to taste 
Seasoning 
  • Oil- 2 tsp 
  • Onion - 1 ( chopped ) 
Method 
Take the stamen out of the flower n retain the tender stem ,  Wash it . 


In little water cook the flowers till soft but not mushy . 

Wash n pressure cook thur dhal , cool n mash it well.


Grind all the ingredients meant to grind to a fine paste .

Add the ground paste to all the cooked flowers  along with salt  n boil  n then do the seasoning . 

Jaggery Coffee 


  • Milk- 1 cup
  • Water- 2 cups 
  • Jaggery cubes- 2 piece 
  • Coffee Powder- 1 tsp heaped . 


Method 
Add 2 cups of water with  jaggery cubes in a vessel n let it boil well n reduce the water to 1 cup ... add coffee powder, switch off , keep covered so for about 10 mts . Strain it . Add 1 cup of hot milk ... 

Serve Hot .

Note: Coffee Jaggery is used here ... its called chitte bella ... if this is not got then can use any other jaggery .
