White rice, Ambuli nonche, Jeev Thori with Kooka n Bimbul Ambat , nendrabale kela masala n Jeev Thori saar !

White rice, Ambuli nonche, Jeev Thori with Kooka  n Bimbul Ambat , nendrabale kela masala n Jeev Thori saar !
Jeev Thori with Kooka  n Bimbul Ambat !!!!! Tender Thur with Chinese potato n  Bilimbi Cooked in Coconut Based Gravy . 

  • Jeev Thori /Tender Thur ... 1/2 cup 
  • Kooka /Chinese Potato .. 1/2 cup 
  • Onion roughly chopped ..1 
  • Bilmbul/Bilimbi... 2 medium 

To grind to a fine paste 
  • Grated coconut.. 1 cup
  • Roasted dry red chilly  .. 4 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Oil..2 tsp
  • Onion chopped ..1 

Wash the Chinese potatoes well , n remove the mud on it ... Put it in a shack cloth n beat it well . This helps in easy removal of the skin . Put them in water n scrap the extra skin with a knife or backside of the spoon . 
Chop them into 2 inch pieces .

Wash tender thur n pressure cook it with chopped chinese potato n chopped onion for just one whistle with enough water . cook bimbul in little water till soft but not mushy . ( Retain the cooked water as it can be used to prepare aromatic saar /Rasam ) 

Grind all the ingredients meant to grind to a fine paste 

Add the ground paste to the cooked stuffs n boil well , then give the seasoning . 

Nendrabale Banana Masala ! ( kerala ripe banana )
  • 2- .kerala ripe banana
  • 4 tsp- grated coconut
  • 2- Green chillies
  • 3 tsp-coriender leaves
  • a small piece jaggery
  • Ghee -2 tsp
  • salt to taste ..

Cut d banana into 2 n slit it lenghtwise ..keep aside
Crush Grated coconut, green chillies, jaggery ,coriander leaves n salt.. stuff this mixture in between the slit bananas ..
Heat Ghee in a kadai n drop d stuffed bananas n sprinkle the leftover mixture n cook on sim flame till done .. roast in between !

Jeev Thori saar /Rasam 

  • The retained water in which the tender thur was cooked ..2 cups 
  • Green chilly slit..1 
  • Salt to taste . 

  • Seasoning 
  • Oil..1 tsp
  • Crushed garlic flakes ..4 
  • Dry red chilly .. 2 

Add the cooked retained water of tender thur in a vessel along with salt n slit green chilly n boil well , then give the seasoning
