Matti Gulla Bajo

  • Seasonal Mlorean Round green brinjal .. 1
  • Gram flour/Besan ..1/4 th cup
  • Red chilly powder..1 tsp
  • Hing /Asafoetida ..2 pinch 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Water as needed for batter ,
  • Oil for deep frying 


Method 
Wash the seasonal Mlorean Matti Gulla n slice them . 

In a bowl add gram flour, red chilly powder, hing, salt n just enough water n prepare a not thin nor thick but medium consistency batter .

Heat oil in a kadai , dip the sliced brinjal into the batter n drop in the heated oil around 3 or 4 at a time n deep fry .

Serve hot with a cup of masala chai .
