Fresh Green Chana / Garbanzo Beans Pulao 

  • Basmati Rice- 1 cup 
  • Fresh Green Garbanzo /Tender green chana - 11/4 th  cup 
  • Oil- 2 tsp 
  • Ghee- 2 tsp 
  • Green  Cardamoms with pod - 2
  • Cloves-3
  • Cinnamon-1/2 inch piece 
  • Bay Leaves-1
  • Kala jeera /Shajeera-1/4 th tsp 
  • Onion chopped -1 
  • Ginger Garlic paste-1 tsp
  • Green Chilies - 3 or according to the spice  
  • Mint leaves chopped -1/2 cup 
  • Water- 2 1/4 th  cups 
  • Salt to taste 

Method 
Wash basmathi rice and soak it for 20 minutes.

Peel the tender green garbanzo beans, wash and keep them aside.

Heat a pressure cooker n add oil along with ghee .  Add cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf , shajeera and let the spices splutter . Then add chopped onion n fry till pinkish red . Add chopped green chillies n fry for a while . Add ginger garlic paste n fry till the raw smell goes . Add the soaked rice n peeled tender fresh garbanzo , roast for a while n then add water , salt n chopped mint leaves ,mix well n  pressure cook for 2 whistle .

Serve hot with raitha .
