Red Rice Flakes / Red Phova Ladoos


  •  Thick Red rice flakes/Red Phova -2 1/2 cups 
  • Sugar- 3/4 th or 1 cup ( just according to the sweet taste ) 
  •  Green Cardamom pods  -3
  •  Ghee -1/2 cup 
  • Cashew pieces-12 


Method 
Dry roast thick red rice phova for a while. Allow it to cool 

Grind the  sugar with cardamom to a very fine powder .Remove it 

Grind the  roasted red phova to a fine powder . 


Grind  Cashew nut pieces to semi coarse powder . 

In a deep bottomed bowl add ground red phova , ground sugar n cardamom powder , cashew nut semi coarse powder n mix well .

Melt ghee n add little by little the hot ghee to the ground red phova -sugar mixture n form into round lemon sized balls . 

Store them in air tightened box.
