Terrace Grown Tomato Platter - Tomato Paratha, Tomato Gojju, Cherry Tomato Sweet Basil Salad , Tomato Basil Soup , Tomato onion Raitha, Tomato chutney , Tomato Mint Rice, Tomato Juice n finally the whole Tomato in its Natural form with Crown !
Method
Finely chop Onion .
Chop Tomatoes .
Add oil in a kadai, splutter cumin seeds n then add finely chopped onion n fry for about 3 minutes , then add chopped tomatoes n fry till its cooked well n its mushy .Add ginger garlic paste n cook for a minute , add all the powders along with salt n mix well ... allow to cool.
In a bowl add wheat flour n cooled above mix n knead well to a soft dough . Keep aside for 20 minutes.
Knead again n prepare equal sized balls of the dough n bail out the paratha .
Heat a tawa n place the paratha n cook on both sides till done .. drizzle some oil/ghee while frying the paratha .
Method
Wash n chop tomatoes.
Dry fry Methi seeds n powder it .
In a kadai add oil, splutter mustard seeds, add hing, torn red chilly chopped tomatoes , salt n cook well till the raw smell goes n it becomes mushy . Add rasam powder, chilly powder , turmeric powder, jaggery , methi powder n boil again .

Chop tomatoes n onions . To it add chopped green chillies, curds n salt .Mix well n then give the seasoning

Cool all the above and grind it to a paste along with salt and then do the seasoning .

Wash rice
In a pressure cooker add oil/Ghee add in cloves , Cinnamon ,finely chopped onions..fry till transparent ,then add Ginger garlic paste fry for a minute ,add in chopped tomatoes n fry till the raw smell goes , then add the roughly chopped mint leaves . Add all the powders , washed rice, water and salt ! cook for 2 or 3 whistle .

- Ripe Red Tomatoes - 3 Medium
- Wheat flour- 1 cup
- Oil- 1 tsp
- Cumin Seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Onion - 1
- Red chilly powder- 1 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder- 1/4 th tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste- 1 tsp
- Salt to taste

- Fully Ripened Tomatoes- 6 medium
- Oil- 2 tsp
- Dry red chilles- 2
- Hing/Asafoetida-a generous pinch
- Fenugreek /methi seeds- 1/4 th tsp
- Rasam Powder- 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder- 1/2 tsp or according to the spice
- Turmeric powder- 1/4 th tsp
- Jaggery - chick pea size
- Salt to taste
Method
Wash n chop tomatoes.

- Cherry tomatoes..a hand full
- Fresh Basil leaves chopped ..1/2 cup
- Onion chopped ...1/2 cup
- Black pepper powder..1/2 tsp
- Lime juice..1/2 tsp
- Olive oil..1 tsp
- Salt to taste .
Method
In a mixing bowl add cherry tomatoes, chopped sweet basil , chopped onion ,black pepper powder, lime juice, salt n olive oil ..mix well n serve .
Tomato Basil Soup
- Tomatoes Red fully ripened ...10 /12
- Fresh basil leaves .. 8 /10 leaves
- Water ...2 cup's
- Olive Oil ...2 tsp
- Bay leaves ..2
- Onions ..1 medium
- Garlic ..4 cloves
- Corn flour .. 2 tsp
- Water ..1 tblsp
- Sugar ..1 tsp
- Black pepper powder .. 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Butter ..2 tsp
Method
slice onion n chop garlic cloves .
Make a paste of cornflour adding water .
Heat a pan. add olive oil , bay leaves, sliced onion and roast until transparent . Add chopped garlic n stir for few mts ,then add chopped tomatoes n little water , mix n cook well adding salt ,till tomatoes are cooked . Cool it , remove the bay leaf n grind it to a fine puree .
Add water n boil it adding corn flour paste to a semi thick consistency . Add the basil leaf n cook for few mts.
Switch off add sugar n mix well.adjust salt ,sprinkle pepper powder n add butter
Serve pipping hot
Tomato Onion Raitha
- Tomato-3
- Onion - 2
- Curds-1 cup
- Green chillies- 2
- Salt to taste
Seasoning
- Oil-1 tsp
- Mustard seeds-1 tsp
- Hing -a pinch
- Curry leaves- 1 sprig
Method
Chop tomatoes n onions . To it add chopped green chillies, curds n salt .Mix well n then give the seasoning
Tomato Chutney
- Fully Ripened red tomatoes - 3 medium
- Onion- 1 Medium
- Urad dhal -2 tsp
- Chana dal- 1 tsp
- Dry red chillies-4
- Hing/ Asafoetida - 2 pinch
- Turmeric powder- a pinch
- Oil- 2 tsp
- salt to taste
Seasoning
- Oil - 1tsp
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
- urad dal- 1/2 tsp
- curry leaves - 1 sprig
Method
Chop tomatoes .

In a small pan add oil n roast dry red chillies, urid dhal n chana dhal separately , add hing and turmeric powder n take it out .
Add oil again in the same pan n fry onions till pink n then add tomatoes n fry till they are mushy .

- Rice- 1 cup
- Water-2 cups
- Tomatoes-3 meduim
- Onion -1
- Mint Leaves- 1 fist
- Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder-1 tsp (according to the spice )
- Garam Masala Powder-1 tsp
- Cloves- 4
- Cinnamon -1 stick
- Oil/Ghee -2 tsp
- Salt to taste

In a blender add chopped tomatoes , water n sugar n blend it ..strain n serve chilled .
