Musti Polo-Version 2 , with Coriander Leaves Sago Masala 

Musti Polo - Version 2 

  •  Dosa rice- 1 cup
  • Urad Dhal  -1 fistful
  • Fenugreek seeds -1/ 4 th tsp
  • Phova/Beaten rice  ( thin variety) - 1 fistful
  • Salt to taste 


Method 
Wash n Soak dosa rice, urad dhal n fenugreek seeds in water for about 5 hours . 


Just before grinding the batter , soak thin beaten rice/phova in little water just for 5 mts n grind all  these ingredients to a very fine batter .

Add salt to the batter n ferment overnight . 

Heat a dosa tawa , smear oil n pour ladle full batter but dont spread the batter too much  , cook on only one side by closing  the lid . 


Coriander leaves Saagu Masala 
To grind to a coarse paste 
  • Coriander leaves-1/2 bunch or 1 cup 
  •  white sesame seeds /  thil - 11/2 tsp 
  •  Roasted gram / Putani- 2 tsp, 
  • Green chilles-3 or according to the spice  
  • Garam masala powder -1/2 tsp 
  • Grated  coconut -1/2 cup 
  • Salt to taste 


Seasoning
  • Oil- 1 tsp
  • Onion -1 medium 


Method 
Grind all the ingredients meant to grind  to a coarse paste .

In a pan add oil , chopped  onion n fry till transparent , then  add the ground paste n boil till thick as shown in picture .
