Sathvik vratha (Naivedheya) pulov with peanut raitha ! ( no onion no garlic )
Method
Cook Basmati rice n keep aside
crush cinnamon, cloves, cardamon n keep aside
Heat oil in a kadai ,add slit green chillies, add cashew nuts ,fry till golden brown ,add in garam masala, turmeric powder along with pounded spices n mix ,add the chopped veggies n little water along with salt cover n cook it .. add in tomatoes n cook on low flame ..when done add cooked rice n mix well n serve it with Raitha !
Peanut Raitha
Method
with a rolling pin ..roughly crush the roasted peanuts
in a bowl add yogurt,salt, n crush in whole dry chilly ,add in crushed peanuts n finely chopped coriander leaves ...

- chopped beans-1/4 th cup
- Medium tomato-1
- Chopped carrot -1/4 cup
- Green peas-1/2 cup
- Green chilies-3
- whole cashew nuts-3
- Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4 th tsp
- ghee/oil-2 tsp
- salt to taste
