Spciy appam - North Karnataka  style with ginger chutney n tomato chutney !
  • Urid dhal - 1/2 cup
  • Raw Rice- 1 cup
  • 2 tsp - chana dhal
  • Onion -1
  • Green chilly paste - 2 tsp
  • coriender leaves- 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
Method

Soak urid dhal, rice n chana dhal for 3 hours n grind to a fine paste ..add salt to the ground batter n ferment overnight !
Next day morning add finely chopped onions, chopped coriender leaves and green chilly paste to the ground batter n mix !
Heat appa tawa ..apply oil ..pour in batter n roast both sides !
Serve hot with chutney !
