Sukhi Multigrain Chapathis with Tomato Phanna Upkari n Jaggery Coffee
- Multi Grain Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Oil- 1 tsp
- Water as needed to prepare the soft dough
- Salt to Tate
Method
In a bowl add the Multi grain wheat flour, salt, ,oil , water n knead to a soft dough .. keep aside for about 20 mts .
Divide the dough into equal lemon sized balls .
Sprinkle little flour on the dry surface kitchen platform or a wooden chapthi maker n place the dough ball over it n roll with a rolling pin very gently n not too hard to a round 5 inch disc .
Heat a tawa n place the chapathi over it. Cook on one side for half minute and flip on the second side. Cook for another half minute, Now you will see the chapathi fluffing , fry both sides till chapathi is completely cooked and brown spots appear on it. Move each edge to middle of the tawa and cook so that all the edges are evenly cooked.
Tomato Phanna Upkari
- Fully ripened Tomatoes-4
- Onion-1 huge
- Coconut oil-2 tsp
- Chilly powder-2-3 tsp
- Turmeric powder-just a pinch
- Salt to taste
Method
Chop onion and tomatoes.
Add oil in a kadai add chopped onions and fry until brown,Then add chopped tomatoes n cook till mushy adding salt . Add turmeric powder . chilly powder mix well and water as per the consistency and cook in medium flame til done .
Jaggery Coffee
- Milk- 1 cup
- Water- 2 cups
- Jaggery cubes- 2 piece
- Coffee Powder- 1 tsp heaped .
Method
Add 2 cups of water with jaggery cubes in a vessel n let it boil well n reduce the water to 1 cup ... add coffee powder, switch off , keep covered so for about 10 mts . Strain it . Add 1 cup of hot milk ...
Serve Hot .
Note: Coffee Jaggery is used here ... its called chitte bella ... if this is not got then can use any other jaggery .
