Green Pulov with Ground Masala
- Basmathi Rice/ Zeera Rice -1 cup
- Water-2 cup's
- Green peas-1/2 cup
- Beans -10
- Carrot-1
- Onion-3 medium
- Ghee-4 tsp
- salt to taste
To grind to a fine paste
- Tomato-1 huge
- Garlic-5 flakes
- Ginger ..1/2 inch piece
- Cinnamon-1 inch stick
- Cloves-3 to 5
- Coriander leaves-one fist
- Mint leaves-1/2 fist
- Green chillies -3 or according to the taste
Method
Wash the rice Chop d vegetables .
Slice Onion
Grind garlic, Ginger ,cinnamon, cloves, green chillies ,coriander leaves,mint leaves ,tomato to a fine paste
In a pressure cooker add ghee , long cut onions n fry till transparent, add the ground paste n fry till the raw smell goes , add the rice n fry for a while ,then add the vegetables along with green peas , add in water , salt n mix well n cook for 2 whistle .
Note :For extra flavour, cloves n cinamom can be added along with onions while frying
