Jeev Thori With Magge Ghassi ( Tender Thur pod with Mangalore yellow cucumber ,coconut based gravy ) 

  • Jeev thori/Tender thur pod ..1 cup ( peeled )
  • Magge /Mlore yellow cucumber ... 1/4 th  kg 

To grind to a fine paste 

  • Grated coconut..1 cup
  • Roasted dry red chilles..4 
  • Tamarind..Tamarind seed size 
  • Salt to taste 


Seasoning

  • Oil..1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds..1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves..1 sprig 


Method 
Wash the tender thur pods n pressure cook it for 1 whistle . 

Wash the magge/Mangalore yellow cucumber , peel the skin n chop them to 2 inch cubes . Cook in little water till soft but not mushy . 

Grind all the ingredients meant to grind to a fine paste .Add the ground paste to the cooked stuffs n boil .Later give the seasoning .
