Creamy Phool Makhana ! (Lotus seeds) ...
Ingredients - 2 cups -Phool Makhana ( Lotus Seeds)
- 1 cup-Fresh or frozen green peas
- 1-medium onion
- 1-cup tomato puree
- 1 tsp-ginger garlic paste
- 2 tsp -kasuri methi
- 1 tsp-coriander powder
- 1 tsp-chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp-cumin powder
- 1/4 th- tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp -garam masala powder
- 1/4 th cup -cashewnut paste
- 1/2 glass water or as needed
- coriander leaves to garnish
- oil-3 tsp
- salt to taste
In a kadai add a tsp of oil n stir fry d phool makhana for 1 mt ,take it out .. in d same kadai add 2 tsp of oil and fry finely chopped onions till transparent , add Ginger garlic paste fry 4 a minute then add d tomato puree n cook till d raw smell goes .. add all d masalas n then d cashewnut paste , water and crushed kasuri methi add peas cook till boiled .. add salt n then d roasted phool makhana n mix well ! garnish with coriander leaves !
Yummy recipe!!But can we substitute anything else for cashewnut paste?
