Aaloo Methi Stuffed Paratha

Aaloo Methi Stuffed Paratha 
For outer covering
  • Wheat flour- 2 cups
  • Fresh Methi Leaves- 2 cups
  • Oil- 2tsp
  • Water - to prepare dough 
  • Salt to taste 

For Stuffing 
  • Potatoes- 3 
  • Green chilles-2 
  • Red Chilly Powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Ajwain or Carom Seeds - 1/2 tsp 
  • Garam Masala powder-1/2 tsp 
  • Lime juice - 1 tsp 
  • Oil- 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste . 
Method 

In a bowl add wheat flour, salt, chopped methi leaves , oil n enough water n make a soft dough .keep covered  for 1/2 an hour . 


Pressure cook potatoes,cool n peel it ... mash well , to it add salt, Ajwain, chopped green chillies , red chilly powder, garam masala , lime juice n oil ... mix well .

To make paratha
Take small portion of the dough and flatten into a disc, place a tablespoon of the filling in the centre of the disc and pinch the sides together around the filing and roll out as chapathis but with a thickness . Roast on both sides on hot tawa ,smeared with ghee !

Serve hot with Raitha or pickle !
