Pumpkin Masala Curry
- Pumpkin -1/2 kg ..cut into 2 inch pieces
- Onion's - 1 big sized
- Tomato- 1 big sized
- Green chillies -2 to 3
- Water-1 to 2 cups
- Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
- Red chilly powder -1 tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
- Coriander powder-1 tsp
- Dry red chilly- 4to5
- Curry leaves- 1 sprig
- Ground nuts- 1 cup (roasted n coarsely ground)
- Oil- 1 Tbsp
- Salt to taste

Method
In a kadai add oil ,dry red chilly , curry leaves n fry for a minute ..then add chopped onions n fry till its transparent , then add ginger garlic paste n green chilles n fry for a minute .Add chopped tomatoes n cook till the raw smell goes n its mushy .Add in all the powders n fry for a minute . Then add the chopped pumpkin pieces n saute for a minute n add a cup of water along with salt , close the lid n cook the pumpkin pieces are tender , then smash with the backside of the spoon , the gravy becomes thick , n then add the powdered groundnut n let it boil ... once done garnish with coriander leaves .
Goes well with rottis , phulkas n even rice .
