 Khotto , Coconut Oil n Bimbla Bhartha

Khotto ...( Idli batter steamed in weaved jackfruit leaves basket)
  • Jack fruit leaves weaved baskets- 10 to 12 
  • Urid dhal-1 cup
  • Idly rice rawa- 2 cups 
  • Salt to taste 

Method 
Soak urid dhal for 4 hours n then grind it to a fine paste .. remove the ground batter ,add the idly rawa , salt n ferment overnight .

In the morning add the fermented  batter into the weaved jackfruit baskets till 3/4 th .   Steam it for 2o minutes .


Bimbla Bharth/Bilimbi in Coconut Based cold Masala . 
  • Bimbul /Bilimbi - 4 to 5 
  • Grated coconut -1 cup 
  • Roasted dry red chilly - 3 to 4
  • Salt to taste 
  • Coconut oil - 2 tsp 
  • Finely chopped onion - 1 tblsp 
Method 
Wash bimbula n boil it in little water till soft . Cool it . 

Grind boiled bimbul , grated coconut, roasted dry red chilly n salt to a paste . Remove it in a bowl , add coconut oil n finely chopped onion ..Mix well n serve .
