Dhavi thori koddel with kadgi - white bean cooked in coconut based gravy with Raw Jackfruit
- Dhavi Thori ( White bean )- 1/2 cup
- Raw Jack fruit pieces - 1 cup
To grind
- Grated coconut- 1 cup
- Roasted dry red chillies- 5
- Tamarind- Tamarind seed size
- Salt to taste
- Oil-2 tsp
- Crushed Garlic flakes - 6
Method
Soak Dhavi thori ( white Bean ) overnight.
Wash the jack fruit pieces .
Pressure cook Dhavi thori /white bean till cooked n not mushy .
Pressure cook raw jackfruit pieces for 1 whistle adding little salt .
Grind all the ingredients meant to grind to a fine paste .
Add the ground paste to the cooked stuffs n boil again .
In a pan add oil n crushed garlic flakes n roast well till brownish red n pour this to the cooked gravy n mix well .
