Ukde seeth, Lepa ( Sole fish ) fries, Soundale ( Butter fish ) fries , Prawns fries , Tomato Dhalithoy  n Kurle ( crab ) Ghassi ...


Lepa ( Sole Fish ) fries  ! 


  • Lepa /Sole fish - 6
  • Red chilly powder- 4 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp 
  • Hing/Asafoetida - 2 pinch 
  • Rice flour - 3 tsp 
  • Oil for deep frying 
  • salt to taste 

Method 
Cut the sole fish , remove the skin  n Clean them ... 

In a bowl add red chilly powder, hing, turmeric powder n salt ... add the cleaned sole fish  n keep aside for sometime .

Heat oil in a kadai .. run the  marinated sole fish  in rice flour n deep fry on both sides till crisp !




 Soundale ( Butter fish ) fries 

  • Soundale/Butter Fish - 5 to 7 
  • Red chilly powder- 4 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp 
  • Hing/Asafoetida - 2 pinch 
  • Rice flour - 3 tsp 
  • salt to taste 

Method 
Cut the butter fish  n Clean them n make cuts in between . 

In a bowl add red chilly powder, hing, turmeric powder n salt ... add the cleaned butter fish  n keep aside for sometime .

Heat oil in a kadai , run the marinated butter fish in rice flour n deep fry till crisp . 




Prawns Fries 



  • Prawns .. 15 
  • Red chilly powder- 4 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp 
  • Hing/Asafoetida - 2 pinch 
  • Rice flour - 3 tsp 
  • salt to taste

Method 
Peel n clean the prawns

In a bowl add red chilly powder, hing, turmeric powder n salt ... add the cleaned prawns  n keep aside for sometime .

Heat oil in a kadai , run the marinated prawns in rice flour n deep fry till crisp . 




Tomato Dalithoy



  • Thoor Dhal..1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes..2 
  • Hing/Asafoetida.. a pinch 
  • Turmeric powder..1/4 th tsp 
  • Salt to taste 


Season 


  • Ghee..1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds..1/2 tsp
  • Red chilly powder .. 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves ..1 sprig 

Garnish 
Chopped coriander leaves . 



Method
Wash n pressure cook thoor dhal, chopped tomatoes , hing n turmeric powder .. Mash it well . Add salt n water for right consistency, boil , season n garnish . 


Kurle Ghassi ( Crab cooked in coconut based gravy ) 
  • Kurlo/Crab- 6 

To grind to a fine paste 


  • Grated coconut - 1 cup 
  • Roasted dry red chilles- 4 
  • Tamarind - Tamarind seed size 
  • Salt to taste 

Seasoning 


  • Coconut oil- 3 tsp 
  • Onion - 1 

Method 
Wash , clean the crabs ... 

Chop onions for seasoning 

Grind grated coconut, roasted dry red chilles ,tamarind to a fine paste . 

In a vessel add the ground paste, little water n washed crabs along with salt n boil well , n later give the seasoning .
