Sukale  Sungtachi Kismoori ( Dried Prawns Chutney ) Version 2 

  • Dried Prawns ..2 cups 
  • Oil.. 2 tsp 
  • Grated coconut..1 cup
  • Roasted dry red chilly .. 5 
  • Tamarind ..Tamarind seed size 
  • Salt only if required . ( As the dried prawns already have salt ) 


Method 
Wash the dried prawns well as it has lots of sand in ample of water .. Remove head n tail .. Let the moisture evaporate . 

In a kadai add oil n saute the cleaned dried prawns till crisp n the aroma oozes .on sim flame . Remove it . 

Grind the grated coconut , roasted dry red chilles to a semi coarse paste .  Dont add water .. just sprinkle while grinding if needed . 

In a bowl add the ground masala , n sauteed dried prawns n mix well ..Adjust salt only if needed .
