Sandwich Chat

Sandwich Chat 


  • Brown Bread Slices- 4 
  • Green Chutney - 1/2 cup 
  • Onions finely chopped-1/2 cup
  • Sev - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped coriander leaves- 3 tsp 
  • Tomato Ketchup- 1 tblsp 
  • Butter as needed to roast the sandwich .


For Green chutney 

  • Mint Leaves - 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves-1/2 cup 
  • Green chilles- 2 
  • Garlic Cloves- 4 
  • Ginger-1/2 inch piece 
  • Onion - Small piece
  • Tomato- 1 small 
  • Jaggery - chick pea size 
  • Lime juice- 1 tsp 
  • Salt to taste 


Method 
Wash the mint n coriander leaves n grind it to a fine paste along with garlic cloves, ginger, onion, tomato n jaggery . Remove add salt n add lime juice .Mix well .

Spread the green chutney on the bread slice n cover it with another bread slice . 

Apply butter to the outer side of the bread slice n place on a tawa n roast on both sides till crisp .

Slice the roasted sandwich bread to four pieces . 

Arrange the sliced sandwich on a plate, Add little tomato ketchup on each sandwich , then sprinkle chopped onions , chopped coriander leaves n Sev . 

Serve hot .
