Chana Dhal Moong Dhal Crispy Seasoned Doddaka


  • Chana Dhal..1/2 cup 
  • Moong dhal.. ( yellow )...3/4 th  cup
  • Green Chillies ... 2
  • Ginger ..1/2 inch piece 
  • Salt to taste


Season 

  • Oil ..1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds .. 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves.. 4 
  • Dry red chilly ..1 


Method 
Wash n soak chana dhal n moong dhal for about 4 hours , n then grind it to a fine batter along with green chillies n ginger . Remove the batter ,add salt n mix well .

In a deep bottomed kadai or pan , add oil, splutter mustard seeds, add curry leaves , torn dry red chilly n pour a ladle full batter , cover n cook till crisp on both sides on low flame ... 

Repeat the same procedure for rest of the batter . 

Note : No need to ferment the batter .
