Terrace Grown Pumpkin Flower Ambat /Cooked in Coconut Based Masala
- Pumpkin Flower's -10 to 12
- Thur Dhal ..1/2 cup
- Grated coconut- 1 cup
- Roasted dry red chilies- 4
- Tamarind -Tamarind seed size
- Salt to taste
- Oil- 2 tsp
- Onion - 1 ( chopped )
Take the stamen out of the flower n retain the tender stem , Wash it .
In little water cook the flowers till soft but not mushy .
Wash n pressure cook thur dhal , cool n mash it well.
Grind all the ingredients meant to grind to a fine paste .
Add the ground paste to all the cooked flowers along with salt n boil n then do the seasoning .
