Angoori Pulov !
- Cooked Basmathi Rice - 2 cups
- Beans chopped-1/4 th cup
- Carrot chopped -1/4 th cup
- Peas-1/4 th cup
To grind to paste
- Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
- Grated Coconut-2 tsp
- Ginger-small piece
- Garlic cloves-4
- Cloves- 3
- Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
- Poppy Seeds- 1/4 th tsp
- Green chillies-3 or according to the taste
- Salt to taste
- Ghee- 3 tsp
- Onion - 2
- Cashew nuts - A few
- Raisins - A few
Garnishing
- Fresh Grapes
Method
Pressure cook the chopped vegetables for 1 whistle with little water . Drain n keep aside .
Grind all the ingredients meant to be ground to a fine paste .
In a kadai add Ghee, sliced onions n fry till pink , add in cashewnuts n raisins n fry for 2 mts .Add the ground paste ,salt n fry till the raw smell goes , add the cooked vegetables , Rice n mix well . Garnish with fresh grapes .
