Tingalavre Kolmbo ( White Navy Beans Sambar )-Version 1
- Tingalavre / white Navy Beans- 1 cup
- Potato- 2
- Bimbul/Bilimbi- 4
- Sambar Powder- 3 tsp
- Salt to taste .
- Oil-1tsp
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Soak White navy beans for about 1/2 an hour .
Wash , peel n cut potatoes into 2 inch cubicles .
Cut Bimbul into roundels .
Pressure cook both white navy beans n chopped potatoes for 3 whistles . ( dont over cook n make it mushy )
Add bimbul roundels , sambar powder ( mix in little water ) , to the above cooked stuffs along with sat n enough water for required consistency .Boil well n then do the seasoning .
