Mixed Vegetable Broken Wheat/Dalia Pulov ...Version 1 With Onion Tomato Raitha n Pointed Gourd /Parwal Tawa Rawa Fries
- Broken Wheat /Dalia ...1 cup
- Ghee ...2 tsp
- Vegetables like beans, carrot, green peas , double beans ... 1/4 th cup each .
- Onion ...1
- Tomato...1
- Finely crushed ginger n garlic paste fresh ones ... 1 tsp
- Cloves...3
- Whole cardamom ...2
- Cinnamon..1/2 inch piece
- Bay Leaf ..1 broken
- Turmeric powder ..1/4 th tsp
- Pulov Masala Powder... 2 tsp ( i used MTR Brand )
- Coriander leaves chopped ... 2 tsp
- Mint leaves ..chopped 1 tblsp
- Water ..2 1/4 th cup
- Salt to taste
Method
Wash broken wheat
Chop beans n carrots to small pieces
Chop onion n tomato.
In a pressure cooker add ghee, then add cloves, Cinnamon , cardamom ,bay leaf n fry for a while ..add chopped onion n fry till transparent, add crushed ginger garlic paste n fry well , add chopped tomato n cook till mushy , add salt , turmeric powder n pulov masala , fry for a while,add vegetables along with broken wheat n stir for a minute or two ... add water , chopped coriander leaves n chopped mint leaves mix n then cook for 2 whistle .
Onion Tomato Raitha

- Curds-2 cup's
- Green chillies- 3
- Salt to taste
- Oil-1 tsp
- Mustard seeds-1 tsp
- Hing -a pinch
- Curry leaves- 1 sprig
Chop tomatoes n onions . To it add chopped green chillies, curds n salt .Mix well n then give the seasoning .
Parwal/Pointed Gourd Tawa Rawa Fries
- Pointed Gourd /Parwal- 6
- Red chilly powder- 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1/4 th tsp
- Hing /Asafoetida- 1 pinch
- Rice Flour ... 4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Rawa/Semolina ..1 tblsp
Method
Wash the pointed gourd's , peel the skin slice them .
In a bowl add the red chilly powder, turmeric powder , hing ,rice flour , salt n sliced pointed gourd , sprinkle water .. mix well . keep aside for 5 minutes .
Run the marinated sliced gourd over semolina .
Heat a tawa , smear little oil n shallow fry on both sides till crisp.
