Instant Bread Masala Dosa with Potato Onion Bhaji 
  • Whole Wheat Bread - 6 slice , can use any variety bread . 
  • Rawa/Semolina-1/2 cup 
  • Rice Flour -1/4 th cup
  • Curds - 1/4 th cup 
  • Water -1/2 cup 
  • Salt to taste 


Method
Remove the brown edges of the bread slice, make small pieces of it n add in a bowl . crumble the bread pieces well with hands . Now add rawa. rice flour , curds, water n salt ..Mix well n set aside for 1/2 an hour . Blend it well in a blender to a smooth paste adding little water .The batter should be of pouring consistency  like regular dosa batter . 

Heat a dosa tawa , smear little oil n pour a ladle full batter n cook on only one side adding little oil at the edges till crisp . 

Potato Onion Bhaji 

  • Potatoes-3 medium
  • Onion - 2 medium chopped 
  • Green chilles-2 or according to the taste,chopped 
  • Grated Ginger -1 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  • water -1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste


Seasoning 

  • Oil-1tsp
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Urid dhal -1/2  tsp
  • Chana Dhal -1/2 tsp 
  • Curry leaves-1 sprig
  • Hing /Asafoetida - a pinch 


Method
Pressure cook potatoes -cool ,peel the skin n roughly mash it .

In a kadai add oil, mustard seeds, once it splutters add urid dhal, chana dhal ,n fry for a minute . then add grated ginger n fry for sometime . Add  curry leaves , chopped green chillies ,hing n chopped onions n fry till pink . add salt , turmeric powder , water n cook till the onions are cooked well ..once cooked add smashed potatoes n give a boil .
