Puffed Rice/Charmburi/Murmura Dosa ..Version 3
Urid Dhal-1/4 th cup
Puffed Rice/Churmuri/Murmura -2 cup's - i have used boiled rice churmuri ,can use any variety .
Methi/Fenugreek seeds --1/2 tsp
Salt to taste .
Method
Wash rice , urid dhal n methi seeds n soak all together for 3 to 4 hours
Wash n soak puffed rice in enough water for about 3 to 4 hours n then squeeze well to remove extra water .
Grind all together to a fine thick batter , dont add too much of water n make it watery . The consistency of the batter should be thick but pouring . Add salt to the batter n ferment overnight .
Heat a dosa tawa , drizzle oil n spread ladle full batter n cook keeping it covered adding oil at the edges on one side .
Serve hot with chutney/Sambar
