Ukde seeth, Kultha Saarupkari /Horse Gram Plain Rasam,Hitkida Avrekalu Spicy Song / De skinned Hyacinth Beans with Ground Masala ,Tomato Onion Gojju n Salla /Brined Raw Jackdruit Spicy Papad

Ukde seeth, Kultha  Saarupkari /Horse Gram Plain Rasam,Hitkida Avrekalu Spicy Song  / De skinned Hyacinth Beans with Ground Masala ,Tomato Onion Gojju  n Salla /Brined Raw Jackdruit Spicy Papad 

Kultha  Saarupkari /Horse Gram Plain Rasam 
  • Kulithu/ Horse gram - 1/2 cup 
  • Water as much as needed 
  • Green chilly-  2 slit 
  • Salt to taste 
Seasoning 
  • Oil-2 tsp 
  • Dry red chillies-  2 
  • Crushed Garlic flakes -  8 to 10
Garnishing 
  • Finely Grated Coconut - 2 tsp  

Method  

Wash horse gram ( Kulithu ) n Pressure cook it for about 8 to 10 whistles or till completely cooked. ( dont over cook n make them mushy ). 

In a vessel add the cooked horsegram along with slit green chilles , salt and water ( adjust the consistency as required ) . Boil it n later give the seasoning n Garnish

Hitkida Avrekalu Spicy Song  / De skinned Hyacinth Beans with Ground Masala 
  • Avrekalu/  Hyacinth Beans - 1 cup heaped 
  • Potato -1 
  • Oil - 1 tblsp 
  • Onion - 1 Huge 
  • Tomatoes-2  
  • Salt to taste .
To grind to a fine paste 
  • Coriander seeds -2 tsp ( not roasted )
  • Roasted dry red chilly - 3 short n 8 long
  • Tamarind - Tamarind seed size

Method 
Peel Avrekalu n soak it in enough water for about 5 hours .Press each soaked seeds n remove the outer skin . set aside 


Wash n peel potato n chop into 2 inch cubical's 

Grind all the ingredients meant to grind to a fine paste .

In a kadai add chopped onion n fry till transparent . Add chopped tomatoes n fry till the raw smell goes n it becomes mushy . Add the ground paste n fry for  a while ..add the de skinned avrekalu , cubed potato , water ,salt n cook till done  .


Tomato Onion Gojju 
  • Tomato-2 
  • Onion - 1 
  • Curds-1/2 cup  
  • Green chillies- 2 
  • Salt to taste 
Seasoning 
  • Oil-1 tsp 
  • Mustard seeds-1 tsp
  • Hing -a pinch 
  • Curry leaves- 1 sprig 
Method 
Chop tomatoes n onions . To it add chopped green chillies, curds n salt .Mix well n then give the seasoning
