Methi Leaves Pappu(Andhra Style Dhal)

  •  Methi leves ...1/2 bunch ,cleaned n torn with hands
  •  Thoor Dhal ..1 cup
  •  Water ...2 cup's 
  • Tomato.. 1 small chopped 
  • Onion ..1 small chopped 
  • Ginger ..small piece ,chopped 
  • Garlic flakes..3 chopped 
  • Green chilly ..2 chopped
  •  Cumin seeds ..1/2 tsp 
  • Tamarind extract ..1 tsp 
  • Jaggery ..1 small piece 
  •  Salt to taste 

Season

  • Ghee ...1 tsp
  •  Mustard seeds.. 1/2 tsp
  •  Curry leaves ..1 sprig  

Method
Pressure cook thoor dal with chopped tomato, onion,ginger,garlic flakes, green chillies,cumin seeds ,torn methi leaves n water.Once it is cooked add salt,jaggery,tamarind extract and boil well . Then give the seasoning .
