White rice drizzled with Ghee, Dalithoy, Salla Sukke ( Brined Raw Jackfruit cooked in coconut based dry masala ) Sala talale ( Brined Raw Jackruit Rawa fries ) n Phova Khichdi .

Dalithoy 
  • Toor dal - 1 cup
  • Green chilly - 4  or according to the taste 

Seasoning 

  • Oil/Ghee -1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  •  Curry leaves - 1 sprig 
  • Dry red chillies -2
  • Hing/Asafoetida water- 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method
Pressure cook toor dal with 1 tsp of oil . It has to be cooked well ,then churn it . Add slit green chillies with salt n boil well .Add water for desired consistency ( medium , neither too thin nor too thick ) 


In a seasoning  pan add oil or ghee , Add mustard seeds , when they splutter add torn red chillies n curry leaves...add this to the cooked dhal n then add hing water . Mix well 


Serve hot with rice. 

Salla Sukke ( Brinned Raw Jackfruit adding Sour Hog Plum  Cooked in Coconut Based Dry Masala ) 


  • Mittagallale Saala /Brinned Raw jackfruit ... 1 cup
  • Sour Hog plum's ...2 

To grind to a semi coarse paste

  • Grated coconut..1 cup
  • Roasted dry red chilly ... 4 
  • Roasted urid dhal ...2 tsp 
  • Salt adjust as raw jackfruit is already brinned .

Seasoning 

  • Oil..1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds ..1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves..1 sprig  


Method 
Soak the brined raw jackfruit in enough water for about 1 hour n wash with as much as 5 times changing water . Slice them to thin strips . Keep aside 

Wash n roughly crush the sour hog plums 

Pressure cook cleaned brinned raw jackfruit sliced n crushed hog plum's for about 2 or 3 whistles ... till its soft . 

Grind the grated coconut n roasted dry red chilly to a semi coarse paste n just before taking the ground paste add the roasted urid dhal n grind just for a second . 

In a kadai add oil, splutter mustard seeds , add curry leaves, ground masala along with cooked stuffs n cook till the moisture evaporates . 

Note : In case sour hog plum's is not available then add small piece of tamarind while grinding the masala for sourness . 


Salla Talalle /Brined Raw Jackfruit deep fried 

  • Salla /Brined Raw Jackfruit ... 15 to 20 
  • Red chilly powder ... 4 tsp  
  • Hing ..2 pinch, 
  • Turmeric powder..1/4 th tsp 
  • Rice flour .. 2 tsp 
  • Salt to taste ( check n add as the raw jackfruit is already brined ) 
  • Oil for deep frying 


Method 
Soak brined raw jackfruit in enough water for about 4 to 5 hours , wash it well , slice them ...

 In a bowl add red chilly powder, hing, turmeric powder, rice flour n salt if required ..Mix well n keep aside for a while .

Heat oil in a kadai, n deep fry the marinated raw jackfruit slices few at a time till crisp .


 Phova Khichdi .
  • Moong Dhal..1 cup 
  • Thick Phova /Beaten Rice ..1 cup 
  •  Grated coconut..1 cup 
  • Jaggery crushed .11/2 cup's ( adjust for sweetness ) 
  •  Ghee .. 3 tsp 
  • Cardamom powder .. 1/2 tsp
  •  Cashewnuts ...10 
  • Raisins ..10 

Method 

In a kadai add  moong dhal n dry fry it, till it changes the color .. cool n soak it in water for 15 mts .. n then cook it in enough water ( dont pressure cook n make it mushy )

Wash n soak thick phova in separate water .. till it dips ..


Dry fry grated coconut till it changes color ... 


In a kadai add jaggery crushed with little water n melt it (single thread) ..then add in cooked moong dhal, grated coconut n add in soaked phova ..stir till it becomes thick . then add ghee , cardamon powder.
