North Indian style Stuffed Green chilly Pickle 


  • Green Chilles - 1/ 4 th kg 
  • Raw Mustard seeds Powder- 1/2 cup 
  • Saunf/fennel seeds- 50 gms 
  • Methi seeds/ fenugreek seeds- 11/2 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp 
  • Amchur powder- 1 tbsp 
  • Vinegar- 2 to 3 tsp 
  • Oil as required 
  • Salt-1/2 cup 


Method 
Wash the green chilles n pat them dry completely  . Make a slit n keep aside

Dry roast Fennel seeds n fenugreek seeds separately on low flame . Cool n grind it to a fine powder. 

In a wide bottomed vessel  add raw mustard powder, turmeric powder, amchur powder, fennel seeds powder, fenugreek seeds powder ,salt , oil n vinegar ..mix well with a dry wooden spoon ... n fill this mixture in the slit green chilles ... place these stuffed green chilles in a wide bottomed porcelain  container n then add in the extra masala , cover n keep under direct sun for about 3 to 4 days .
