Pyaaz Ka Khatta
- Onions - 3 huge
- Tomatoes-3
- Tamarind- Marble size
- Oil- 3 tsp
- Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Pepper corns - 4
- Curry leaves- 1 sprig
- Green chilly slit - 1
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
- Red Chilly powder-1 tsp
- Coriander Powder -1 tsp
- Home made Zeera Methi Curry Powder -1/2 tsp

To grind to a paste
- Grated Coconut- 3 tsp
- Onion - 1/2 piece
- Tomato- 1/2 piece
Method
Wash n boil tomatoes , cool n peel the skin ,Mash it well.
Soak tamarind in little water for about 10 mts . squeeze it n discard the residue .
Grind grated coconut, small piece onion, small piece tomato to a paste without adding water .
In a kadai add oil, splutter mustard seeds, add cumin seeds let it crackle , Add pepper corn , fry for a while , add curry leaves , slit green chillies n fry for a minute , add ginger garlic paste n fry till the raw smell goes ..add the chopped onions n fry till reddish brown . add all the powders , ground paste n fry again for sometime. add the mashed tomatoes , along with salt n boil well . lastly add the tamarind water n boil again for 2 minutes.
Serve hot with Phulkas/Rottis/ Rice .
