Menthe Soppu Thove

Menthe Soppu Thove ...
  • Fresh Methi leaves bunch -1
  • Thoor Dhal -1 medium cup 
  • Green chilly -2
  • onion - 1 medium 
  • Tomato-1 medium
  • Ginger-Small piece
  • Turmeric powder-1/4 th tsp
  • salt to taste
Seasoning
  • oil- 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp 
  • curry leaves-1 sprig 
  • Dry red chilly -2
  • Lemon juice-1 tsp
Method  
Pressure cook Thoor dhal ..

Roughly chop Methi leaves ..

In a kadai add oil , chopped onions fry till pink .. add in chopped tomatoes,fry till the raw smell goes, add in green chillies, chopped ginger , turmeric powder ..saute for a little while ..n then add the chopped methi leaves n fry till the raw smell goes n it gets cooked . Add cooked thur dhal with water ,add salt n cook till done ..season with mustard, dry chillies n curry leaves . switch off the flame n add d lime juice !
