Raw Mango Thil Curry or Mensukayi ! ( Udupi Kannada brahmin delicacy )
  • Sweet Sour Mangoes -4
  • Jaggery -2 marble size
  • Dry chillies -5 ( i use 3 long n 2 short )
  • coriender seeds-1 tsp
  • Urid dhal-1/2 tsp
  • Thil-1 tsp ( levelled )
  • grated coconut-1/2 cup
  • Tamarind-1/2 marble size
Seasoning

  • 2 or 3 dry red chilles
  •  1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard

Method

Fry the dry chillies, coriender seeds, urid dhal, thil with little oil.. cool n grind it with coconut n tamarind ..
Boil raw mango with salt ,n jaggery .. add the ground masala n boil again ..
season with dry chillies n mustard

Note :..thiz gravy shoulnt be too thick or watery !
