Bangalorean Iyengar Style Bread Toast

  • Bread Slices... 6
  • Oil... 1 tblsp
  • Mustard seeds..1 tsp
  • Onion ..2
  • Tomato..1
  • Green chilles..3 or according to the spice
  • Coriander leaves .. few
  • Cumin powder..1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder..1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder..1 tsp 
  • Butter as needed to toast the bread
  • Salt to taste


Method
Wash n grate Carrots . Slice Onions length wise ,Chop tomatoes n  coriander leaves. Finely chop green chilles.

In a kadai, add oil n splutter mustard seeds, add sliced onion n fry till transparent, add chopped green chilles n fry for a while .Add chopped tomato n fry well . Then add grated carrots n fry . Add all the powders , salt  , chopped coriander leaves  n mix .Allow it to cool .

Apply butter on One side of the bread and on the other side apply a generous portion of the mixture. On a hot tawa toast the buttered side well. 

Serve hot .
