Spicy Tomato Chutney ..version 3
- Red Juicy Tomatoes ... 3 huge
- Tamarind..Tamarind seed size
- Dry red chillies... 4 /6
- Salt to tatse
To season
- Oil..1 tblsp
- Mustard seeds..1 tsp
- Urid dhal..1 tsp
- Sambar Onion/ Small onion ... 8
- Garlic Cloves... 4
- Curry Leaves..2 sprig
Method
Wash n roughly chop the tomatoes n grind it along with dry red chilles n tamarind .
Chop sambar onion n garlic cloves .
In a kadai add oil , splutter mustard seeds, add urid dhal , curry leaves n fry till brown , add chopped sambar onions n fry till reddish brown .Add chopped garlic cloves n fry till brown . Add the ground tomato paste n cook till the raw smell goes adding salt
Serve with Dosa/Idly .
