- Yam- chopped to 2 inch pieces-1/2 cup
To grind
- Grated coconut- 1 cup
- Roasted dry red chillies- 5 or according to the taste
- Tamarind- Tamarind seed size
- Salt to taste

- Oil-1tsp
- Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Curry Leaves- 1 sprig
