Charmburi / Mandakki /Puffed Rice Usli .

 Charmburi  / Mandakki/ Puffed rice ..3 cup's 

Seasoning
  •  Oil ..2 tsp
  •   Mustard seeds..1/2 tsp 
  •  Urad dhal ..1 tsp  
  •  Curry leaves..1 sprig 
  • Onions..  sliced .. 1 
  • Green chilly , chopped..2 
  • Turmeric powder..1/2tsp 
  • Salt to taste 
Garnish 
  • chopped coriander leaves ..3 tsp 
  • Lemon juice ... 1 tsp 
Method
    Add  the puffed rice in water .  

    Drain water and squeeze gently the puffed rice to remove the excess water. 

    Add oil in a kadai , then add the  mustard seeds. once it stops spluttering , add the curry leaves, urad dhal and chopped green chillies n fry it for a while ,then  add the sliced onions and stir till the onions become soft n turn pink . Add turmeric powder n salt ... add the squeezed puffed rice and cook on  low flame for 3 to 5  minutes, stirring in between.  switch off n then do the garnishing n mix well.
