Khara Khaddi /Spicy Kharo
- Besan/ Gram Flour ... 1/4 th kg
- Cumin seeds .. 1 tsp
- Hing /Asafoetida water ..1 tsp
- Red chilly powder ..2 tsp
- Ajwain ...1 tsp
- Hot oil.. 2 tblsp
- Water as needed to prepare a thick dough as chapati dough .
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying .
Method
Pound cumin seeds n ajwain .
Seive besan n to it add salt, chilly powder, hing water , pound mixture n mix these well , add water little by little n prepare a thick dough n then add hot oil n knead again ..
Fill this dough in Khara Shev mould ...
Heat oil in a kadai ... directly press the mould in circular way ... fry on both sides till crisp ..
Remove on a tissue paper .Allow it to cool n then slightly break it into pieces of above size ..
Store in air tight container ..
