Left Over Rice Thalipeeth

  • Leftover rice..1 cup 
  • Besan /Gram  flour.. 2 tblsp
  • Onion ..1
  •  Green chilly..2 
  • Ginger,..1 inch 
  • Ajwain / carom seeds ..1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder ..1/4 tsp
  • Coriander  leaves .. 1/2 fist 
  • Salt to taste

Method
Chop the onion , green chilly n coriander leaves finely .

Grate ginger .

 In a bowl add the left over cooked rice, gram flour, chopped onion, green chilly , coriander leaves , ajwain, turmeric powder , grated ginger  n salt ...

 Mix all the above ingredients by hand. dont add water , as it becomes sticky as u knead it .

 Heat a dosa tawa , smear oil n take a handfull of this mix ...n pat with fingers dipping in water to a thin round shape n cook on slow to medium flame ... n roast on both sides . 

Serve with pickle/Ketchup/Chutney or just like that with a cup of masala chai
