Phodnicha Bhaat

Phodnicha Bhaat 

  • Cooked rice..2 cups ( usually left over rice is used ) 
  • Oil..2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds ..1/2 tsp 
  • Cumin seeds ..1 tsp
  • Asafoetida /hing.. 2 pinch
  • Onion ..1 
  • Green chillies ..2 or 3 
  • Curry leaves..1 sprig  
  • Turmeric powder..1/4 th tsp 
  • Salt to taste 


Garnish 
  •  Lemon Juice.. 1 tsp   
  • Coriander leaves chopped ..2 tsp
  • salt to taste

Method
Chop onion n green chilly .

In a kadai add oil n splutter mustard seeds n crackle  cumin seeds, add hingcurry leaves ,green chillies  give it a quick stir then add chopped  onion n fry till transparent then add turmeric powder n salt ..mix well . Add the cooked rice  & mix well. cover and let it steam for about 2 mts . Switch off and do the garnishing .
