Haryali Chana ( Fresh Green Chick Peas in Green Gravy )
- Fresh Green Chick Peas Peeled -2 cup's
- Coriander leaves-1/2 cup
- Onion -1
- Tomato-1
- Green chillies - 2 or 3
- Garlic flakes-3
- Ginger -small piece
- Coriander powder-1 tsp
- Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4 th tsp
- Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
- Kasuri methi-1/2 tsp
- Oil -2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Method
Pressure cook fresh chick Peas for 1 whistle n keep aside ..dont discard the water ..
Grind coriander leaves, garlic, ginger n green chillies to a fine paste .
In a kadai add oil, chopped onion n fry till pink , add in chopped tomato n fry till the raw smell goes.. add in the ground paste n fry for a while,till the raw smell goes. .. add in all masalas, the cooked chick peas peas n kasuri methi, salt, retained cooked water n give a quick boil .
