Navane/Foxtail Millet Set Dosa
- Navane/Foxtail Millet ...1 Cup
- Urid Dhal...1/4 th cup
- Methi/Fenugreek seeds ..1/2 tsp
- Beaten Rice/Phova ...2 fist
- Curds .. just to soak beaten rice
- Salt to taste
Method
Wash n soak foxtail millet, urid dhal n methi seeds in water for about 3 to 4 hours ...
wash n soak beaten rice in just enough curds for about 10 mts ..mash it well ..
Then grind all the soaked ingredients to a fine batter ... Ferment overnight .
Add salt to the batter n mix well .
Heat a dosa tawa n pour a ladle full batter n dont spread too much ... cover n cook on both sides , adding little oil at the edges .
Serve hot with chutney/sambar
