Instant Puliyogare with Cucumber Raitha , Finger Chip's , Vegetable Curd Baath with Lime pickle n Chana Dhal Jackfruit Godse !
Instant Puliogare ( Tamarind Rice )
- Cooked Rice... 2 cups
- Oil.1 tblsp
- Mustard seeds..1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves ..2 sprigs
- Ground nuts .. 3 tsp
- Dry red chilly ..2
- Puliogare powder... 1 tblsp ( i used MTR brand )
Method
Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds , then add curry leaves, groundnuts , torn dry red chilly n roast for few seconds , add the puliogare powder n saute for a while Add the cooked rice n mix well .
Cucucmber Raitha
- Cucumber ,peeled n grated ...1 cup
- Curds ...1 cup
- Pepper powder..1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves chopped ..2 tsp
- Salt to taste .
Method
In a bowl add curds , churn it ...to it add grated cucumber, chopped coriander leaves, pepper powder n salt ..Mix well .
Finger Chip's
- Potato..2
- Oil to deep fry
- Salt to taste
- Chilly powder... 2 tsp
Method
Wash n peel the potatoes .. Slice them thin lenghty .
Heat oil in a kadai n deep fry it ...take on a tissue paper to remove excess oil ... sprinkle salt n chilly powder .. mix well .
Vegetable Curd Bhaath
- Cooked Rice ..1 cup
- Carrot ..1/2 cup grated
- Onion..1 medium sized finely chopped
- Cucumber ...1/2 cup finely chopped
- Curds..3 cup's
- Coriander leaves..1 tblsp chopped
- Green chillies..3 chopped
- Salt to taste
Seasoning
- Ghee..2 tsp
- Mustard seeds..1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves..1 sprig
- Bengal gram ..1 tsp
- Peanuts..2 tsp
- Cashew nuts.. 1 tsp broken
Method
In a mixing bowl add cooked rice, mash it a little bit , add curds, grated carrots, chopped onion chopped cucumber n chopped green chilly along with chopped coriander leaves, salt n mix well n then season it ..Mix well n serve with pickle .
Note : Chopped onions n chopped cucumber add just before serving as if added before it might make the curd rice watery ...
Chana Dhal Jackfruit Payasam
Jackfruit sliced into two ... 1 cup
Coconut Milk.. 1 cup ( i used Dabur Homemade Coconut Milk ) adjust accordingly as its quite thick
Jaggery ... 2 lemon size ( crush it ) or according to the sweetness
Cashew nuts ... 10 sliced
Rice flour ...2 tsp
Cardamom powder..1/4 th tsp ( optional ) ..i did not add
Method
Wash n pressure cook the chana dhal till soft but not mushy along with sliced cashew nuts .
Mix rice flour in little water n stir well ..as no lumps is formed .
In a vessel add the sliced jack fruit pieces , add little water , crushed jaggery n boil till the jaggery melts n jack fruit is cooked . Add the cooked chana dhal , Cashew nuts , Coconut milk n on sim flame ..give a quick boil .Add the rice flour mixture ..Mix well . Add cardamom powder ...
