Tendle /Ivy Gourd Leaves Sanna Polo / Spicy Dosa Adding Bimbul/Bilimbi

  • Tendle /Ivy Gourd Leaves washed n chopped roughly ...3 cups
  •  Raw Rice ..1 cup 
  • Thur Dhal ..1 fist 
  • Bimbul/Bilimbi...3 
  • Dry red chilly ... 6 /8 
  • Grated Coconut ...1 cup
  •  Coriander seeds ...2 tsp 
  • Cumin seeds ..1/2 tsp 
  • Salt to taste . 

Method 
Wash n soak raw rice n thur dhal for about 2 hours 
Grind grated coconut,bilimbi , dry red chilly , coriander seeds,cumin seeds to a fine paste ..then grind raw rice n thur dhal to a semi coarse consistency .. Grind with very little batter as the batter needs to be thick ..Remove add salt n chopped ivy gourd leaves ..Mix well .. 

Heat a dosa tawa , smear oil .Take a hand full of this thick batter , pat it with fingers , dipping them in water into a round dosa shape ... Cover n cook on both sides ..drizzle oil at edges as its been cooked . 

Note : Bilimbi is added for sourness, if no bilimbi then add a small piece of tamarind
