Pressure cook thoor dal with chopped tomato, onion,ginger,garlic flakes, green chillies,cumin seeds ,torn methi leaves n water.Once it is cooked add salt,jaggery,tamarind extract and boil well . Then give the seasoning .
- Methi leaves ...1 bunch ,cleaned n torn with hands
- Thoor Dhal ..1 cup
- Water ...2 cup's
- Tomato.. 1 small chopped
- Onion ..1 small chopped
- Ginger ..small piece ,chopped
- Garlic flakes..3 chopped
- Green chilly ..2 chopped
- Cumin seeds ..1/2 tsp
- Tamarind extract ..1 tsp
- Jaggery ..1 small piece
- Salt to taste
Season
- Ghee ...1 tsp
- Mustard seeds.. 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves ..1 sprig
